In Scandinavia and the US, smaller restaurants have struggled to keep up with the digital shift in online ordering. Too often, the solution has been to appear on an external platform among hundreds of other restaurants: A concept we questioned from the start.

Founded in 2019 by Swedish entrepreneur Daniel Lindau, who built the service from the ground up with a focus on pizzerias. In January 2020, the first version of Lumit was launched on Torino Pizzeria’s website. Today, Lumit is used by hundreds of restaurants across a wide variety of cuisines.
